📊 MIXED Q1 earnings $62M, EPS $0.83, NIM 2.99%, non-broker deposits up $1.4B YoY
Revenue & Profitability
Net income was $62 million (EPS $0.83), up 5% from $58 million (EPS $0.78) in Q1 2025. Pre-provision net revenue (PPNR) was $106 million, an 11.5% increase year-over-year. Net interest income increased $16 million or 7% from a year ago. The provision for credit losses was $25 million, including an $8 million qualitative overlay for geopolitical uncertainty. Net charge-offs were $36 million, bringing the trailing 12-month charge-off rate to 37 basis points.
Outlook
Management sees no change to full-year guidance, with seasonal patterns expected to drive strong NIDDA growth in Q2 and higher loan production later in the year. The Middle East conflict is noted as a new uncertainty, but management believes a short-term resolution is likely. Credit trends are improving, with non-performing loans down 26% in the quarter and expectations for further reductions in Q2, Q3, and Q4.
Growth Drivers
Key growth levers include NIDDA growth driven by net new client acquisition (approximately 50 net new clients per quarter in NTS), expansion in southern markets (Atlanta, Charlotte, Texas), and growth in capital markets fees, syndications, and the FX platform (client count up over 100% year-over-year). The company is also adding specialty talent and investing in back-office fulfillment to support expansion.
Balance Sheet & CapEx
Not discussed in this earnings call.
Margins
The net interest margin declined to 2.99% in Q1 from 3.06% in Q4 2025, following a seasonal pattern. NIM expanded 18 basis points year-over-year. Management expects NIM to rebound strongly in Q2, similar to the prior year (from 2.81% in Q1 2025 to 2.93% in Q2 2025), and reach ~3.20% by year-end. Deposit costs declined 6 basis points to 2.12% on average, and the company continues to push for further reductions despite the absence of Fed rate cuts.
Key Risks
Key risks flagged include geopolitical uncertainty (Middle East conflict) leading to an $8 million qualitative reserve addition, potential elevated net charge-offs in the first half of the year (especially from C&I loans in healthcare and transportation), and competitive pressure on loan spreads and deposit pricing if the Fed does not cut rates. A failure to achieve NIDDA growth targets would be the single largest risk to guidance.

First quarter results showed year-over-year growth in net income, deposits, and credit quality, with management reaffirming full-year guidance and highlighting strong NIDDA growth and robust pipelines despite competitive and geopolitical pressures.
Q4 2025 Q4 2025 2026-01-21
Delivered strong double-digit growth in EPS, earnings, and PP&R for 2025, with robust Q4 results and margin expansion. Core loans and deposits grew significantly, credit quality remained solid, and a $200M buyback plus dividend increase were announced.
Q3 2025 Q3 2025 2025-10-22
Earnings, ROA, and margin all improved, with net income of $71.9M and EPS of $0.95 beating consensus. Credit quality remained stable, expenses were well controlled, and fee income grew 24% year-over-year. Management expects continued margin and ROE growth, with balanced loan and deposit pipelines.
Q2 2025 Q2 2025 2025-07-23
Q2 2025 saw strong earnings, margin expansion, and robust deposit growth, with net income of $68.8M and NIDDA up over $1B. Office-related NPLs increased as expected, but reserves and capital remain strong. Guidance calls for continued margin and deposit growth.

Financial Model
Projections are built from each company's audited annual financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) over the last 5 fiscal years. Forward assumptions — revenue growth %, EBITDA margin, D&A (USD millions), interest expense, tax rate, and capex — are AI-generated using historical context and refreshed twice a year: after the December results season and after the September/Q4 results season.

DCF Valuation
Fair Value = Σ(FCFt / (1+WACC)t) + Terminal Value. Terminal Value uses the Gordon Growth Model: FCF5 × (1+g) / (WACC−g). Default WACC: 10% (US risk-free ~4.5%, equity risk premium ~5.5%). Default terminal growth: 3% (long-run US nominal GDP proxy).

CAGR Tracker
Expected 5-year CAGR = (DCF Fair Value / Current Price)1/5 − 1. Assumes fair value is reached in exactly 5 years — a mechanical estimate only.
